Today I was bored (yes I know, I'm not in school anymore, I don't care,...) so I went to the first Feds election forum. Here are some quick thoughts:

  • It started twenty minutes late!
  • While everyone in the audience was either a candidate or 'media' they still should have given each candidate thirty seconds to introduce themselves
  • The questions were all very general and certainly not hard hitting enough but it is still early
  • Will Hamilton suggested putting a grocery store where Aussie's is. I have a hard time believing that Feds has the wherewithal to run a grocery store!
  • Will also suggested moving the Feds offices. They are occupying some prime real estate. There might be some value in moving them.
  • All candidate where under the impression there is a housing crisis still. From what I've heard from the admin housing people is that there is not a housing crisis. In fact, the surplus this year should be greater than last year.
  • Yellow Team talked about using weblogs to increase communication. We'll have to see how they do maintaining their campaign weblog
