The Canadian Undergrad Tech Conference is supposedly going on in Toronto (you can't really tell from their site if people actually showed up). For whatever reason I didn't make it up.

Now if I were organizing this conference I would put one (or a few) of my many volunteers in charge of blogging the conference. I'd also select a conference area with complete wireless coverage. I then turn the homepage into a blog and put our blogger(s) in charge of posting live updates from the conference about what was going on. This is commonplace at many 'real' tech conferences and it would be great if this practice could trickle down to these student conferences.

Yeah I'm blog obsessed but so are you or else you wouldn't be reading this.

That HP and Apple are working together is not news. What is news is that they're trying to tie the iPod and the Media Center together. CNET, iPod may define new era of open strategy (via Gary):
As part of the iPod deal, Apple is creating tools that will allow HP programmers to tweak the iTunes music software and store so that they can work with features of Microsoft's Media Center, such as a remote control.

Grad details...

I don't intend on buying a year book since I don't feel a lot of affinity with my graduating class. That said I have a day to submit any photos and/or a blurb to go next to my official photo. You would think I would have something to say in my blurb but I don't. If you have any suggestions besides 'BOYCOTT EVERYTHING', comment away.

Also, anyone heard any rumors on who has nominated themselves for valedictorian?

Looks like Blogger recently added feeds support (a feed is a machine readable version of your blog). While they decided to buck the RSS trend by inventing Atom I am none the less very happy that you will all have feeds. All you have to do is turn it on. All Blogger users please see How to change my feed settings. Then once your feed is on post a comment to your blog or here so I know to subscribe. (Via Jenn).
