Today I watched my first football game where I somewhat understood the rules of the game.

For John - Kitchen toys for geeks

Our life was revolutionized when someone introduced us to the Rubbermaid Scrubbin Maid Dish Washer, a second generation dish scrubby. The handle contains soap that is dispensed through the sponge on the end. It allows you to do a few dishes without having to fill up the whole sink with water; this was revolutionary.

Fast forward to the year 2004 when Dawn introduced what appears to be the first third generation scrubby, the Dawn Power Brush. Basically a similar concept as above but with battery operated bristles!

I can only hope that the imminent introduction of the Dawn Power Brush to our house's sink will transform our dish washing, or lack thereof, as much as the Rubbermaid Scrubbin Maid has.

I tell people it's a 15 minute walk from campus to our house. But that's a lie.

Tonight it took us probably about 45 minutes to get home. You see the whole night of drinking is really just preparation for the walk home which is the unspoken main event. On the walk home there is name calling, face washes, fights, surprise tackles, ganging up, pizza ordering (we write out the order in the snow), accusations and occasionally someone will open up the vault and spill all.

Here's Benny's take on the night, though you'll need your secret decoder ring.

In other late night bar news we're busy dreaming up alternative names for everyone. So far we have:

Kevin - New Coat One Slice
Benny - Many Cough (tentative)
Orr - Spikey Hair Chub Chub (tentative)

We also appreciate that Showcase shows Six Feet Under in the wee hours of the morning.
