Terror Sex. Universal plans protection for all CDs (I hope they're planning for the class action lawsuit which will be launched because they're violating our fair use rights).
And when I tried to download a 'free' song from Amazon.com's Free Music Downloads I was informed that 'the record label does not allow this song to be streamed in your country.' Yup, we're bad asses up here in Canada. Satellite Radio is here and it's commercial free. Kind of cool but I'd prefer an MP3 player in my car which used my wireless 802.11b network to sync my car's MP3 player with my home computer when my car was sitting in the driveway.
I.e. Whenever I download a new tune on my laptop my car (wirelessly) detects that and automagically grabs a copy for itself. John ICQ'd me a CNN article with this message: Solution to terrorism: put MORE guns on the plane. Stolen mercilessly from the Pho list, If you bought $1000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49. [2:25:30 PM] [] I know I have some friends looking at buying Archo's MP3 Jukebox. There are two places in Canada that sell them. Check out Computer Innovation (free shipping!) and Mostly Mac. Both are in Ontario, so if you're in Winnipeg you can save some tax.
I might just buy one too. From the DBWire, Toronto Pho Sets Record
I think Darryl missed his calling as a journalist :).
