Blockbuster tells me Startup.com was released on video last week. I urge my entire family and all my friends to go rent it so you can get a feel for why I might do what I do.

To all the people calling my phone only to discover I'm not answering since it's $1/minute to roam in the US... I'm still in Maine because I missed my flight!

Now I know that you're supposed to show up 2 hours ahead of time but Gary, Bob and I lost track of time and only showed up 13 minutes before the departure of my flight. Of course there was a long security line because another, more busy, flight was leaving (my flight in only had 2 other people on it!). I asked the police person if I could cut in front but she told me rather sternly that there was a reason that they told us to come two hours ahead of time.. I eventually did make through, ran to the gate only to have the guy tell me he couldn't get me on the flight while we both saw that the plane was literally 50 feet away with the door still open with probably only 1 or 2 passengers on board (it's an 18 person plane). I got him to call the plane but they couldn't do anything because of some magical list that I wouldn't have been on that had already been sent to some authority (FBI?)...

So I'm now on a flight tomorrow morning for which I will indeed show up two hours early.
