While www.thefedsparty.com doesn't work someone pointed out that http://members.rogers.com/thefedsparty does.

I don't know what the real effect websites will have on this election but in my hyper-wired mind I believe that websites could play a major role in this and future Feds elections simply because so few people are probably getting out to the forums.

If they're not getting informed there, then where are they going to be informed? Feds.ca? Unfortunately the Feds.ca content is static and won't change between the beginning and end of the campaigning period, though many of the candidates platforms may evole.

Where will people find out about those evolutions? UWS? UWS is a great news source but I find that the signal to noise ratio is bad. So while it's important that participants appear active there they must repost the good stuff back to their own websites.

There's also the Imprint but even though I somewhat 'care' about these elections I skimmed the articles.

Speaking of UWS, it troubles me that many candidates aren't involving themselves in the discussion there. I realize UWS can be a time sink but none the less, here are the posting counts as of 4pm on Feb 3 for the uws online Feds election forum 2003 discussion:

Colquhoun: 0
