So, the Imprint:

  • Dammit, why is a banana story on the front page!?
  • On the rally: Only 60 people showed up. And rumor has it only 20 of those were people who lost their jobs. What's up with that? If I was one of those 150 137 (or whatever) people who lost their jobs I would have been there.
  • Michelle needs to be more racy.
  • Who decided that the Harem column was good enough to be part of Imprint this term? What were their reasons??
  • The 'Larry the Economizer' column sucked. Larry is not a wrestler.
  • Nice to see that the Feds continue to ignore their students on this whole bar issue.

So, the election:

  • Anonymous reader on how long Matan has been at UW: 'No wonder he started the Muskoka club all his friends left 3 years ago'
  • Ryan did a good job of tearing apart Robson's dream of having Feds issue a dividend. It really leaves you questioning the credibility of him as a candidate if one of his key platform points is untenable
  • I'm confused by Rob Schmidt's quote: 'open source software development'
  • 'Party whip' sounds like a quote that should be in Melissa's sex column
  • Universal bus pass shouldn't be an election issue
  • Rob Schmidt, you need to smile!

Is it me? Or has the Imprint site been down forever?

In both Mozilla and IE I get 'The requested application was not found on this server'.

I hear that I have to start attending some forums (rumor has it: 'A lot of candidates do NOT like each other'). So I'm going to pencil in the following ones:

  • Tue, Feb. 04 - MathSoc Forum - MC 3001 - 1:30pm
  • Thu, Feb. 06 - All-Candidate's Forum - SLC Great Hall - 11:30am

I wanted to make to the Feds 2003 Q&A tonight but life conspired against me (hockey, interview, and info session). If anyone attended post your reports below. Or if you just have some general comments/issues/questions post those too.

Also, what are the must read websites of this election?

  1. UWS
  2. Feds 2003.ca (Matan, Hickson, Schmidt)
  3. Feds.ca (Official Feds site) Pretty static.
  4. Dan
  5. Rob Robson Site is too static
  6. Aaron Lee Wudrick Site is too static
  7. Feds 2003.org (Edey, Capper, Fedy) Their site is too static
  8. The Feds Party Site is still down
  9. Steve Hui Site is still down
Is anyone else blogging the election? Does anyone else care? Do *you care?
