I'm so sick of studying. All day, every day, I study. It's all I do. Every day we have an exam, assignment, or midterm due. There is no respite.

Does anyone have an old C&0 487 (Applied Cryptography) midterm kicking around? There aren't any in the exam banks..

It'd be much appreciated.

I should be at Phil's but I don't wanna walk and without job possibilities on the horizon I can't really afford to drink (yeah, I know Phil's is cheap) (though I can't even remember the last time I went out (fucking school) that I probably should have gone just to prove that school can't get the better of me (it has)). I also heard (while waiting forever at Kinko's for my fax to the bank to go through to change my address (why the hell won't they let me change my address over the phone, as if faxing proves anything (and they made me wait on hold for 10 minutes to tell me that I had to fax them to change my address even though they have a press 4 to change your address button))) that Phil's now makes you go outside to smoke (Waterloo has had a smoking ban for a while now but Phil's always allowed people to break the law).

March 1st means rent cheques. Yeah! Oh wait, the bank gets it all.

What I want is a car with a 110v outlet.

There's nothing that I hate more than having to buy a $30 adapter for every electronic gizmo that I own.

(And yes, I know I could buy a 110v adapter but why doesn't my car just come with one? Why are we continuing to use cigarette lighters as the preferred method of power distribution in a car?)

So.. I still need a job.

(insert me bitching about the whole job search process here (rant sure to follow once I actually find a job)).

Just back from a Toronto CMW Pho.

Some of the drinkers (no actual Pho this time) included Mario Bouchard (General counsel of the Canadian Copyright Board), Warren Campbell (Beyond Sonic), Darryl Neudorf (co-wrote 'I go blind'), Ted Cohen (VP New Media at EMI), Lee Black (Jupiter analyst), Jeff (MapleMusic), Walter McDonough (Future of Music), and Darryl (UW student).

I've decided that I really don't want to be involved in the music business (there are just too many laws restricting what you can and can't do) and I also know that I'm no music fan. I'm just a casual listener (do you remember seeing The Clash at bleh bleh bleh or when Springsteen opened for bleh bleh bleh and played for 3 hours both nights and the concert ended at 4am?)

Just wanted to point to two Imprint articles I enjoyed this week:
