Mike Kerrigan, VP Internal of the current Feds administartion has responded to all my ranting about the bar closure on campus in a lengthy email and kindly agreed to its re-posting. If you're at all interested in what has been going on this is a must read. Here are some highlights:

On moving campus bars off campus:

This is Plan X. If all else fails we're keeping tabs on a pretty good establishment that may come up for sale.

On why administration is dragging their heels:

Admin's not too interested in moving quickly on the issue; they know as well as we do that the student population will slowly turn against us the longer this rides out.
Also:
They sprung this on us the morning of the first day of our lawyer's vacation--something they knew about.

On the current election:

The one comfort I have while listening to candidates rip our actions apart is that if they get elected I can hand them the minutes of the meeting we had and they'll feel a little stupid. I will work on getting some more information on the website, however.
Full email.

Thanks Mike for being open with us.

18,000 customers. $1,000,000 in revenue. Feds is a serious business and yet none of the 'CEO' candidates seem to have serious business experience. Is this worrisome?

Last night we went out for Robin's birthday. Here are the photos.

Liam was there and so here's Natalie imitating Aaron Lee-Wudrick (that's her saying 'Aaron Lee Wudrick is the devil'). Yesterday Robin lost his toque but Anne knit him a new one. It looks like he likes it.

It's odd, just a few days ago I was trying to recall where I was for the Challenger disaster.
