According to some analyst from the short article CD prices may be on the decline: (We) believe music software CD prices may soon permanently decline to $9.99 given weak sell-through of new artists and continued Internet piracy that appears unstoppable No shit.
But $9.99USD is about what we pay for CDs right now here in Canada and having just bought a CD (Vanilla Sky Sndtrk) I must say that while it's good it certainly wasn't worth $17.99CDN. Though I really was too lazy to find it on Morpheus. Time to close off the Fall 2001 photo album. The last addition to Fall 2001 is Christmas in Winnipeg. 69 fun filled photos from bowling, a social for Tim & Rea, Christmas dinners, and gingerbread house building. Enjoy! 'Uhaul.com [expletive] my [expletive]' I think Mark might have missed this the first time around: Matt & Nat's UHaul Nightmare.
Don't use U-Hual! Thanks to Mark for writing the first real review (you'll need a password to read it).
Interesting Note: 'mark schaan' is the current number one search term leading people here. From the RB: The mystery of Britney Spears' breasts. I must say the evidence is shocking and certainly puzzling. But that's what you get for having your boobs controlled by a marketing machine. (See Britney is signed to Jive 'the world's leading independent music label' which is owned by Zomba which has 'sub publishing deals' and has joint ventured with BMG. BMG also owns copyrights to some of Britney's songs and handles distribution for Jive. A very cozy relationship indeed. So cozy in fact that BMG now owns a 20% minority stake in Zomba. Understand that Jive and Zomba were created by and are (partially) owned by Clive Calder. Here's a little blurb from Jive Records Presents: Teen Idols Collect Them All! : Calder's greatest stroke was assembling the team that enabled Jive to capitalize on teen pop. For talent, he went to the Svengali-like Lou Pearlman, whose Florida teen-band boot camp cranked out Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, two acts with broad demographic appeal. For composing, Calder hired Swedish producer Max Martin to create light but carefully structured songs. And he caught a lucky break when a former Mousketeer named Britney Spears turned up at Jive's office for an audition. (wow I spent too much time on that))
