Worst term ever (and last winter was pretty awful!)

I 'work' what seems to be at least 12 hours a day, every day. But after November 14th it should all be down hill.

Anyhow, I'm actually looking forward to a 60 hour work week. It will be much more relaxing than this.

For the CS girls and boys in my life, misbehaving.net:
misbehaving.net is a weblog about women and technology. It's a celebration of women's contributions to computing; a place to spotlight women's contributions as well point out new opportunities and challenges for women in the computing field.
Here is another link, Women and Computer Science that may also interest you. You may also find it interesting if you were one of the people supporting that poster in the realtime lab.

Nat reports that Pita Factory has raised their prices. ...I was wondering how they were going to afford that new location.

This weeks Imprint. Nothing to get excited about.

And initially I thought the Imprint online forums to discuss articles were a good idea but not any more. Turn them off.

The Daily Bulletin announces the four latest hot spots to be installed in the SLC. There is one even in Bomber. Quote from IST on expanding coverage:
That's a lot of work required, both by IST and the faculty groups, to say nothing of the effort required to do proper 'site surveys' to confirm access-point numbers and locations to ensure that coverage really is complete. We're hoping to have an initial estimate of work required, costs, priorities, and suggested timing, by December

If I were the Feds I would have installed an access point in Ground Zero long ago. This would have differentiated their food offerings from the food court as well as food in the plaza. Would this have increased patronage? Yes, I know friends who frequent establishments much more now that they are wireless as a result of the Fibretech deployment.
