If you do use Puretracks and own an iPod.. WMA to MP3. If school ever gets less busy I'll try some of these out.

Puretracks couldn't withstand the Slashdotting:
Thank you for visiting Puretracks.com.
Due to overwhelming publicity, our store is currently at full capacity.
Please return shortly.
Thanks again for visiting.
At $0.75USD a track or $7.50USD an album, Puretracks is a good deal for Americans with access to a Canadian proxy server.

Heh. I've been slashdotted. The other three times I've been slashdotted the server melted. Glad to see we've kicked that problem.

University Report Card on the University of Waterloo. Conclusion: Our school didn't do well.

Glad to see that this year you can link to their website.

Their methodolgy could be better since I doubt the study population is representative of the target population since they elicit opinions from the Student Awards community. I signed up last year so I could participate but my spam filter probably filtered them out.

But hey, Natalie spotted a picture of Maeve in it (click on it for a full size scan):

On uw.general in buzz 1, methodology 0 Prof. Ragde writes:

University of Waterloo ranked 8th in the country for postgraduate opportunities to study law (above the University of Alberta), and 9th for opportunities to study medicine?

The kicker being that WE DO NOT HAVE A LAW SCHOOL.

In the comments AG points out:

The best fun comes from comparing UW to WLU in the off-campus categories. For example, in public transportation, WLU is 13th, UW is 31st. Opportunities for fun off-campus, WLU 12th, UW 30th.
UW and WLU are a ten minute walk apart so how can our public transport and off-campus fun differ so greatly?
