'Similar to the male sexuality de-cal, the female sexuality class also takes a trip to a strip club and teaches a section on pornography and erotica. ' - Continuation Of Sexuality De-Cal Classes Uncertain at Berkeley

A whole bunch of changes just went live at EmergentMusic (translation: I've introduced more bugs). Feel free to go break things and then talk about it. Some of the features include:
  • They're not reviews, they're recommendations
  • Get points for writing and rating reviews
  • Soon you'll be able to cash in points for CDs
  • Comment on recommendations
  • Comment on the music
  • Simplified the text (but you can be the judge)
  • A weird weblog feature that will be turned on soon

If you wrote a review a while back and want to get paid for it email us (contact *at* emergentmusic.com) your address so we can mail it.

devaluation != deflation

From the Globe, Was it something I said?

When U.S. President George W. Bush talked yesterday of his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi in Tokyo, he said the two leaders had discussed "the devaluation issue."

What? The yen might be devalued? The value of the Japanese currency promptly took a brief dip. Fortunately, a Bush aide stepped forward to say what many observers, knowing of Mr. Bush's past malapropisms, had assumed: The President meant to refer to "the deflation issue." The yen recovered, as, presumably, did Mr. Koizumi's pulse rate

Our cable Internet has been down for about 2 weeks and Rogers was supposed to come last week, they even called and confirmed, but then didn't show. They did show up today, swapped a new modem in and we're back online (we have DSL too so we were never really offline). While he was here the guy said they've been having a lot of problems with the old school modem we had. My question is if they know that there's a problem with em why don't they swap em before we call and bitch?
