If you write a review in the next 4 hours for EmergentMusic I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Update 1: Thanks guys. You did an awesome job. I urge you all to watch for Maeve's reviews. She's never let us down.

Update 2: I know I should be doing some math myself but over on an a-lister's site I saw a link to a genre we obviously forgot to include at EM and that is Math Rock. First the ManHood and now this. Today folks I've read and seen it all. Oh and we lost our hockey game 6-0.

I'll second the suggestion of an official U-Dub blogger get-together. I spied Brad and Tracy at Weaver's yesterday but was inexplicably unable to get up and say hi which leads me to wonder what are these computers doing to my mind!?.

Now there's something I need to clear up with Rafi since others are unable to so themselves.. So Rafi, remember that time you ran into Nat & Maeve in the gay-bourhood and they invited you up for tea? You guys then had tea but you had to go move your car or something? Well while you went to plug the meter or whatever they went and put a load a laundry in. While they kept an eye out for you they must have missed your return and so they ended up watching the movie alone and we can only speculate what happened to you.

For some reason I feel guilt over the above story even though I'm in no way shape or form involved. So thanks all for letting me get that out.

Oh yes one other thing. I discovered (found the link on Davezilla) that the Manhood is made in Winnipeg. Of course this shouldn't surprise anyone seeing as how cold it gets there :).

I'm going to the bank now to 'take care of some business'. Hopefully you won't be seeing me next on the 6 o'clock news.

Update 1: It didn't go well. First I got stuck in the driveway and then they did not give me the help nor the answers that I needed. Fortunately I didn't hold the bank up; maybe next time.

Update 2: I'm meeting with Larry's personal banker tomorrow at 1pm. Time to draw up an agenda of all the points I need addressed.

Anyone have any experience with hard drive recovery?

My dad also just lost a hard drive and his needs are a little more urgent and demanding than mine. If you have any experience using a software package (like Dtidata) to try and rebuild things or have used a data recovery service (like Drive Savers) give me a call: 519-589-1600 or email.

Yes that's correct. John Cormie, my partner in crime, bought an ad on my weblog to announce to both myself and the world that he's now blogging.

With a Johnlog now online will I still be able to scoop his girlfriend on major John announcements such as moving to San Francisco?

..And you too can buy an ad here for as little as $5/week. Reach all my friends and a few enemies too.

Oh and remember how I was having such a bad day yesterday? (Failed hard drives, bank hassles,...) Well on our way to the bar I discover my rear tire is flat! So thinking I'd rather drink than fix it I waited till this morning to do it only to discover that we're in the middle of a blizzard! From The Weather Network (Kitchener):

From this morning to tomorrow morning we expect 15-20 cm of snow and 20-30 mm of rain
