What's the name of the new Alanis song playing on the radio?

If you're interested you can download Alanis's Hands Clean here.

Recently the Globe has brought us one editorial, A Plague of Plagiarists and the article Skip the studying, just buy the degree.

My thoughts:

My professor(s) don't:

  • Write the course notes
  • Write the course slides/overheads
  • Make up my assignments
  • Mark my assignments
  • Mark my midterm (well maybe one question)
  • Mark my final (well maybe one question)
  • Help me when I need assistance (that's what TAs are for
  • Give me personal feedback
...And all my classes are filled to capacity with 100s of students.

Just something to think about.

And yes, I would pay more (if I got more), and yes I believe the government should pay more (ironically I don't support higher taxes).

Nat and I had our first beginner squash lesson this evening. Those balls sure don't bounce!

The above logo is now on every Fairtunes page. Reason being is because I believe the new owners don't like the Fairtunes name (as if!) and are re-branding themselves as 'musiclink'. Now if anyone can tell me what the above logo has to do with music I'm all ears.

On Amazon the iPod has a sales rank of 787 and yet it's not even shipping yet! Which makes you wonder how many units that is and why doesn't Amazon have any of these things to ship?

Just after I'm set to receive an iPod two new jukeboxes come out. The RCA Lyra and the Rio Riot

Interesting note from one of the articles Apple sold over 125,000 iPods since it began shipping the beginning of November, making it among the best selling MP3 portables of all time. This is despite the fact that Macs only make up 5% of PCs.. Very interesting.

Elsewhere in Matt's Music news contact@fairtunes.com today got an email about Buskpay so if you're interested in voluntary payments go check that out and I'll comment on it later.. The guy who sent the email said he went to Waterloo too.

Test w/Radio 8.

You'll notice that I've switched to Radio 8 from Radio 7.0.1 as my weblogging software so please be patient if stuff is broken (but tell me if it is).
