Gzowski talks with Susan Goyer who had just lost her home in the Red River Flood of 1997 (the link is to a Real Audio clip).

Susan Goyer is my Mom and Saturday she had emailed me this,

if you want to know more about your mother, listen to Vinyl Cafe today . Here it is at noon. I spent my 15 years as an at home mom listening to Gzowski and can remember listening to the Cricket Story while baking in the Marchand Road kitchen on a Mon morn. It is what kept me sane staying at home. The CBC called me to do 2 different interviews when he died because of the flood interviews that triggered the Red River rally
