Be very wary of the TTC's Rockets: Accident photos (via Aaron Adel's post to GTABloggers) From Gary while talking about web design: Interface Design is Sexy.
('Moving Made Easier' was on the back of the envelope they sent us) Remember when I sent letters of complaint to Uhaul, Blockbuster, and Rogers? Well in response to our first letter U-Haul sent us this letter [16k jpeg]. Expect our second response shortly. And seriously, do they expect us to use a gift certificate if we've vowed never to use them again??
No response from Blockbuster (first letter), but a credit for $80 has showed up in my bank account from Rogers (first letter). 'Just as the entertainment industry tried to ban the VCR, now it aims to outlaw the technology that is the next killer app of the Internet' - Robin Gross from EFF. Right on! So you'll be glad to hear that Hollywood-Battling EFF Vows To Aid MusicCity Legal Defense. I'm sure MusicCity's Morpheus has some non-infringing uses. I just haven't found them yet. It certainly is a great source for music, movies, and pirated software. And in case you haven't heard Morpheus is even more popular than Napster.
But like the VCR I'm sure non-infringing uses will develop. The Microsoft Lexicon, or Microspeak made easier (via wannabe) will prove useful for our friend Jen who just got a co-op offer from Microsoft (and 'you can't say no to Microsoft' Update: Hell not even the US government can say no to Microsoft). CNET: PayPal fee may make users less chummy. Yup PayPal went from being something very cool to being just like a bank, nickel and diming you at every step.
