My ftp server is back up: ftp://mgoyer.dyndns.org. Username: mp3s, Password: mp3s. If you leech a lot please upload something you think I'll like and be sure to use Fairtunes if you like the music you decide to keep.

Look a list of sites that accept voluntary payments. It's kind of short so help me out.

CNET: Copy-protected Natalie Imbruglia CD flops. Well duh!.

I don't have a tape player and I don't have any conventional CD playerss so if a CD doesn't work in my notebook or desktop then when would I buy the damn thing?

Now I'm actually considering buying some (4) Melissa Ferrick CDs from CD Baby. The sad thing is that once the CDs arrive I will quite honestly throw the CDs in the garbage after burning. Has it occured to anyone that the postal and retail systems are highly inefficient bit transfer systems? 01010101001s travel best over the Internet not in the back of a UPS truck.

The world is still spinning backwards. That both frustates and excites me. It excites me because there is still so much opportunity to develop better ways to do things but really I want to spend money but can't!

Dave Winer on employees who blog in The Case for Personal Web Publishing.

A smart company wants to have an employee who's immersed in the rest of the world. The worst thing you can have from the point of view of the management of a company is people who are basically churning your dollars on their own political infighting or whatever's going on inside your culture -- they're not making you any money by doing that. It's better to have people write publicly.

I agree. Sure hope my company does too :). Maybe I can twist their arms into setting up a company blog when we launch our product in the next month.

You ping, I pong.

Which means I survived the ride home from the airport (I had a greater chance of dying on the 401 then on any of the 4 planes I was on).

We won our hockey game last night. It was an absolutely great game and the final score was 3-0. I must say that last night's game was so much fun but also exhausting (it was stop time when it usually isn't). I'm thoroughly tired today. Our underdog team sure got some steam for the last part of the season.
