On Monday Matthew Haughey of MetaFilter announced that MeFi was open for text ads. On Tuesday he announced he had sold enough to pay his rent. Wow! Look you can actually buy most popular MP3s online at: Weblisten.com. Only $1.33 for two songs. How long till they get busted? Rest of the Hip's MWB performance is online at you know where. Thanks!
Still looking for the Ladies', Cockburn's, and Alanis' performances, and I guess OLP. I can do without the Choclair :). It's raining snow. Business Week: Napster gets another $25mil.
Do you use Napster? I sure don't. The problem: It's not year 2001. It's more like 1999. We need something that's 2002. 3 tracks from the Music Without Borders show last Sunday. If you have fills let me know! Also, I added some live BNL and Gord Downie stuff to the collection. Transposes' KnowledgeKnife white paper [pdf]. More on those niche text ads. I think all that is needed now is a service to plug text ads into your website quickly and easily as well as a site that lists all the sites doing niche text advertising so I know where to push my message out to.
