Finally! I've riled some of you (well at least three so far).

To further clarify my thoughts/beliefs.

Absolutely nothing justifies the killing of 6000 people. In fact nothing will ever justify the taking of even one human life. Which leads to my belief that America is in the wrong for bombing Afghanistan.

Even though nothing has nor will justify the actions of a few terrorists led by a madperson I find it hard to believe that their actions were the result of random crazyness. ..There was a reason for their actions. It doesn't justify what they did, but there is still a reason.

A reader, It concerns me that a few people like yourself are apathetic about this even to the point of taking the attackers side. . I am not apathetic about this and I'm not taking the side of the attackers. What I am not doing is taking America's side in this. Sorry but I don't agree with their reaction.

God forbid something even remotely like this should happen in Canada, but perhaps if it did you might be a little more understanding. Let's take it a step further. If these acts of terrorism had directly affected my family I would hope that I would still believe in what I believe in now. That is: These acts were not isolated random incidents, and that the bombing of Afghanistan is not the solution.

Another reader, There is no justification for terrorism. I agree. Though, let's be carefully not to stoop to terrorism ourselves in response to their terrorism.

More tomorrow after the drunk orgy that will be Oktoberfest.

CNN: Giuliani rejects $10 million from Saudi prince.

I disagree with Giuliani while agreeing with the prince that the US 'should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stand toward the Palestinian cause.'.

Terrorists don't kill 6000 people for no good reason, so let's take a long hard look at that reason even if we might not want to.
