Welcome to Meta-Matt.

Hey. FYI: Amazon one-click really is that. So watch out! ..Today I was spying on Amazon's Rip-Off of Fairtunes (also known as AHS) and accidently got a little button happy and before I realized I had sent money to someone.

From today's Webnoize, Oops, AOL did it again:

AOL will include its software on every domestic copy of Britney's forthcoming CD. That means millions of teens will consider spending (their parents') money to get AOL's content.

Spears will be promoted across AOL properties, including the following features: the new AOL Box Office will offer subscribers ticket presales for Spears' fall tour; AOL software will be included on every U.S. copy of Spears' forthcoming album Britney; the Winamp media player will feature an official Spears "skin"; and the new Radio@AOL service will host an exclusive Spears radio station.

Does Britney have enough music for her own 'radio' station??

What do Surfstation, MeFi, and this blog have in common?

Damned if I know.

Update: Now I know. And it means more work! :) (Well really more babbling). Natalie has bailed on going to see Tori Amos tonight. I'm a bit sad (though we never had tickets). I also have an opportunity to buy 6th row tickets for Sunday's benefit concert. Though they're $150 each! I think if it was just The Hip I would spring for them.. But they're only playing for 40 minutes.. Ugh.. Tough choices!

Via MeFi: Young Philadelphia man refused access to UA flight because of his reading material. This had us on the floor last night.

From our student newspaper, the Imprint: Before it’s too late.

When is it time to start making a name for yourself? I hate to break it to you, but you may already have missed out...

...Too many students are riding out their years at UW with hopes of filling out their own personal cubicle in yet another nameless office. From one soul-sucking grey building to another, you might say.

I think it's a bit easier said than done. Sure I'm making a name for myself but when was the last time I was at the Bomber, Feds or Phils? Yesterday I had class from 8:30-10, conference call from 10:30-12, crisis at Transpose from 12-4, meeting from 4:30-6, class from 7-8, then more crisies after a late dinner and I finally went to bed at like 2. Today more work, probably another afternoon conference call, and then more work till it's time for bed or maybe a movie.

So do I want you to feel sorry for my busy ass? Absolutely not. Life sucks then you die. So you better enjoy what you're doing and for the most part I do.

My company has launched a newly updated corporate site: www.Transpose.com. What we do and who we are is all there so go check it out! You'll also find Gary's lengthy manifesto on why we're in business. It's so far titled: Fingers Pointing to the Moon.

I also went and talked to Larry today, who always gets my mind churning, and got a signed copy of his new book (which I don't believe is in stores yet) 'Beyond The Internet: How expert systems will truly transform business'.
