Do the right thing: Anna's Wheelchair Fund @ Fairtunes. Doc: Questioning the unquestionable: Even if we can't stop killing, we also can't stop asking why.
Oh yes, Bluemeanie is more or less permenantly on the web thanks to DynDNS. So you can find my music here. Ming has some excellent points about the latest Bin Laden vs. Bush thing. Like really, are they going to fry him or not? (I am very much against the death penalty). Saturday's Globe advertised in more than one location Dell's new Inspiron 4100 Notebook. CNET even has an article about the color options on the 4100 and yet no where on Dell.ca or Dell.com can we find these new machines. We even tried Dell's EValue code from the paper ads but still can't find it. ODD! And what's with CNN's tagline 'America Strikes Back'. On the one hand I find it very trivializing but maybe they're secretly implying that America is the (evil) Empire. I'm working. I swear. But.
Doc pointed to America Under Attack, Media in Crisis which has this quote, 'Anchors and journalists at CNN and their associated television networks in America hardly raised the question of why this happened. Instead, they focussed on the issue of how the terrorists carried out their attacks, and how America would retaliate.' Wired article: Recording industry lobbyists had quietly tried to insert an amendment into an anti-terrorism bill to let copyright holders break into your PC and delete pirated files. Yikes! The Treo. I want one!
