Weekend re-cap:

Friday: Started at McGuiness, then we BBQ'd and played cards. Next it was Barley Works then we moved to McMullins.

Saturday: John and I drove to Toronto, met up with Maeve and friends, and saw Winnipeg's The Weakerthans. It was a great show (go buy their CD Left and Leaving) . We then drove back to Waterloo (sadly I had to msis the GD concert) and went to McMullin's for beer & pizza. Lauren and I then stopped at Solé and convinced them to sell us a slice of cheesecake even though they were closed.

Sunday: Watched Spirited Away, which I did not like. Then went biking with Ming and we then had our Sunday BBQ. For dinner I had mussels, catfish, steak, potatoes, and pie. Lauren and I then watched Frida.

Anyone know of anything that satisfies these requirements?
opensource file-sharing application that's centrally administered and can track music listens via the client application.

In response to this comment...

CDs are Dead Somtimes you have to make a point.
Sometimes you have to take a stand.

I listened to it twice.
Ripped it.
Threw it out.

Yes. The CD is (nearly) dead.

Yet another student has settled with the RIAA for creating/running a search engine for school networks. What bullshit. Someone (who shall remain nameless, we don't want CRIA getting any ideas) created a great little search engine to index all the Windows shares at the college I resided in for nine months. Anyhow, its sad that all these kids are settling instead of stepping up to the plate and taking the RIAA's challenge to court (but of course I realize they don't have the $$ required to do that. Much easier to settle (how sad is that?)). But really, if the RIAA had any guts they'd go after Google the world's largest MP3 search engine.
