On Sunday we hung out with co-ops from Isopia and Communicopia. I told them I work for Transopia during the day and Fairtunesopia on weekends.

The Memepool has been killing me as of late.

Wondering what we did for John's birthday? Langeman's got the low down on that. Basically it involved ruining a lot of expensive jeans then me paying for an expensive meal after paying a lot of money to go to the Loo for three hours (2 bus tickets, 2 taxi trips).

Sounds like everyone was at last night's Gord Downie show in Cambridge except me! I'm very jealous. Maybe next time I'll fly down :). I guess I should have sucked it up and seen him at Hillside (but it was logistically difficult considering I don't have a car). But I have seen him twice this summer, once at a benefit concert and another time at this dance thing.

I listened to the streams today and they're half-decent. Expect MP3s by the end of the week on ftp://bluemeanie.mattgoyer.com (email for username & pw). There are some other GD streams online that I'll probably capture and cut up too.

Last night I TotalRecorded a live Gord Downie show. I'll splice it up, MP3 it, and put it online sometime this week. ..You gotta love TotalRecorder because everyone thinks streams can't be nailed down but with TR you can capture pretty much anything. And I got pointed to Streambox VCR which would have let me capture the video had I heard of it in time and had enough bandwidth. I'd also love it if all artists performed in clubs that streamed the show.

It's 740km to close to where these guys in New York are.

Doc talks about the Information Boulevard or as Gary calls it the Blog Hierarchy where normal people like me attempt to curry favour with the blogmasters like Doc and Dave in order to drive traffic to our lowly blogs. But I'm getting up to 137 hits a day on the blog alone which is pretty decent.

Back to work before my ass gets fired.
