I'm going to start a frequently asked questions list. So send your questions in.

The other day I posted my @transpose.com email on this page. It's never been posted anywhere before and low and behold today I received spam for both it and mgoyer@fairtunes.com.

Now the other day John raised the point of 'imagine if 50% of the time you answered the phone it was a telemarketer'. Or even 75% of the time. You'd good stark raving mad and stop answering the phone and society would revolt. Now why doesn't that happen with email? Our contact@fairtunes.com receives about 5 spams for every legitimate email. It's out of control!

CmdrTaco once suggested that we charge to receive spam. $1/spam. Or something akin to postage for paper spam. That way the average person would be making about $200/month. That'd be enough to cover our co-lo fees!

Actually there's some e-gold thing out there that gave you an email address except you'd only receive an email if someone paid you a set amount in gold first. Would you pay a penny to email me so that I would never get spam again? I doubt it. But then we could setup some arrangement so that I'd just refund the money to you.. Hmmmm.

BTW, I hate forwards.

I might be going to the UK. Fingers are crossed.

Microsoft Outlook and Entourage don't work with Sendmail's SSL. I really don't understand how Microsoft can not get it to work properly. Oddly enough Microsoft Outlook Express does work.

Natalie dragged me to A.I. yesterday. If I hadn't have been with her I would have left part way through. Actually I never would have gone in the first place. Yes, that's right, I HATED IT. It was an awful movie. Why? I found it's darkness very unsettling. And Speilberg never should have tacked that 2000 years in the future bit on. That was obviously his doing not Kubrick's. Ughhhhhh. I hated it. End of discussion.

I called today to confirm my camera order. Turns out it'll be $60USD just for shipping and it will take 3 weeks! So no thanks. Please cancel. I then called around to a bunch of the other people on the Pricescan list and I got shipping rates ranging from $25.99-$99.99. $100USD shipping when UPS tells me it'll be about $10USD!

So I started calling random stores in Toronto. Accidently called one in Alberta and they have the camera for $709CDN+$7CDN shipping! Plus no pst. It'll still be a little more expensive than the cheapest shipping+camera rate than I found in the US. But it'll be here before the end of the week and there's no border-duty hassle. I'm ordering it tomorrow.
