Andromeda is a thingy that lets you guys stream MP3s off say my computer. It's very cool. Maybe I'll get it setup by the end of the weekend.. Meanwhile I think I'm going to scope out the movie rental scene. Expand your minds: Daze Reader 'Sex Web Log & Portal'. (It's the blog we've all been searching for!).
I updated the FAQ. If you have more questions you know where to find me.
I'm also cutting off the 'mp3s/mp3s' BlueMeanie account for fear that Brian Robertson is a regular blog reader. So if you want access to my 2040 MP3 collection simply email me with a username and password and I'll hook you up. That way I'll be able to hopefully use any fair use laws to my advantage. Stopping Spam and Malware with Open Source Thank god for ICQ or else I would have forgotten! Happy Birthday John!
Of course I'm sure that John's non-too pleased about turning 22. John pointed out that we may soon be faced with $15 breakfasts here in Toronto now that Fran's debts outweigh assets eightfold according to a Toronto Star article. I sure hope not! Fortunately the Frans near us will remain open as its a separate entity. Heheheh. My weblog automatically emails each entry to a special folder on my computer so that I have a separate backup.. Anyhow, this time the entry got routed to the Delete folder because it thought it was spam.
I've taken matters into my own hands by creating a rule in Outlook which scans the body of every message I receive for a list of phrases that I've specified. Every time I get some spam I look for a key phrase and add it to my rule. It works pretty well and has so far routed all those annoying SirCam trojans/viruses/worms straight to the Delete folder. Note for you. Don't include phrases like 'this is not spam!' and 'earn $5000 a week!' if you want your email to be read. Hey the webcam is back.
