.. I now forgive Amazon for not answering their phone because there was a quake in Seattle early today.
Amazon is now doing exactly what we do. You better read about it.
Now I tried calling Amazon because I really would like to talk to someone there about their Honor System. First I tried searching their website but couldn't find a number. Next I whois'd their domain name and got their legal department. From there I got their 1-800 number. They in turn gave me the number for Amazon Advantage?? . Next I tried old fashioned 555-1212 and got the number for their corporate office but of course sat on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up, called back, and left a message. I'm sure it will be returned. It's very interesting that these companies build up these huge barriers not allowing anyone in. Like really. How hard should it be for me to talk to a real live person at corporate headquarters?
I'm selling Natalie's Microsoft Office 2000 Premium on EBay if anyone is interested.
Applications of the Napster Protocol are racing through my head (that's why I'm not asleep yet).
