Yesterday was Hallmark / Valentine's day, probably my least favorite holiday of the year. But I of course couldn't tell my girlfriend that! So yes I did buy her a present and we had a lovely evening together. Unfortunately I had a night class so we couldn't go out for dinner. Maybe we will this weekend. And oh, I got a wicked present. It's a ticket to see Ani Difranco at the University of Guelph!

I met yesterday with Mauricio De Simone CEO of Nitido. We had a lengthy conversation about Fairtunes over at Ground Zero and after much discussion Mauricio showed me the path to profitability. It isn't through reverse subscriptions, transaction fees, or interest on the float. It's actually one of our orginal ideas that I discounted after speaking with Angus Reid of Ipsos-Reid. Time to re-work the plan and start pitching.

My computer science courses are getting increasingly boring. I even spent some time on Western's Richard Ivey site today considering alternatives.

The Espra client by the boys at ESP was released today. It's only a month and a half behind schedule :).

On JohnandMatt.com we've had two hits looking for Tintin Sex and one looking for Erotic Tintin. Natalie pointed out it's because the page they're finding talks about John's love for Tintin and his collection of Erotic Magnetic Poetry.
