Some shareware guys want us to build a shareware registration website. Basically Fairtunes but for shareware instead of music. It'd be pretty easy to do to. Basically it'd involve rebuilding one page and putting a new look on a couple others.. Hmmmm.

Okay. To rip your very own copy of REM Live in Toronto download Total Recorder 3.01 (not 3.2 b/c I couldn't find a registration key for it) and use the key you find on this pirate software page. So install all that software. Next load up Total Recorder. Load up Edge 102 @ 7pm (or sometime on Sunday) and hit record. Enjoy.

The UW Webring has some new additions. And from those additions it looks like some aren't on the list.

Also, Rafi has moved to Shaitaani.net after I set him up with some hosting because I was so fed up with the ads Geocities displayed.

...But really we all have web and ftp access from UW so really no one should be hosted on Geocities. Hmmm. But I'm sure the same reason people don't use that is the same reason they favour @hotmail.com over @uwaterloo.ca.

Note. If I was an employer hiring UW students, I wouldn't hire anyone who put their email address as hotmail/yahoo/... instead of @uwaterloo. If you don't know how to POP/IMAP you're in big trouble.

..In the middle of all this my home 'server' running Win2k crashed. Very, very odd. Win2k seldomly (like I could count on one hand)crashes.

Edge 102 is airing the REM concert tonight. I'll have to setup Total Recorder and 'tape it' with my computer then cut it up into tracks for distribution on Napster and Gnutella. Ah. Technology.
