Napster the Movie??
Been spending the night trying to move my blog over to my own server but it requires I get the calendar archive working.. Which I haven't been able to do yet. Grr. Testing (again!). Test. I think I broke my blog.. Test So I've been doing some research in the course of my employment.. Some of which involved writing a review on Epinions to see how the process worked. Now just one day after writing my review of REM - Reveal I've earned $0.08 and only 8 people have read my review! (I see a corelation there). Anyhow. I'm psyched. On my way to riches and fame. So what's their business model that they can pay me a penny everytime someone reads a hastily written review by me? OF course I don't get the money till I earn over $100.
Hmmmm. Last weekend John came down to buy a computer but chickened out. His excuse: He'd wait for a dual-processor AMD motherboard to come out. Well John, check out Tyan's Thunder K7 Motherboard. No more excuses now! Well.. I guess you'll have to wait for A-Plus to stock em. Now before Mark calls or emails. I should acknowledge that he and a friend replaced Jonathan as our token gay guy while watching Queer as Folk last night. And now before Jonathan calls and complains, you're much more than our token gay guy! When you have hit on something that is truly non-obvious while simultaneously being a great need, that's when you can do something really, really great in the world. - Gary Robinson
I like this quote because 'non-obvious' and 'great need' ideas are the holy grail of all entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs by definition want to (or is it need to?) change the world.
