R.E.M. is coming to town soon. Last time I saw them was at Bumbershoot (for $25) and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to and I'd love to go again. Unfortunately tickets this time are $85USD!

Last Sunday we went and saw The Tragically Hip at the Showbox (Capacity ~1000).

This Sunday we hiked Mount Si (4 miles hike w/ 3700 foot vertical). Mount Si is an incredibly popular hike but we mixed things up by not arriving at the base until 4:30pm so when we arrived at the Summit we were one of the last groups on the hill. Minutes after heading back down it got incredibly dark and started to rain. Fortunately we were equipped with all the necessary gear, warm clothes, rainjackets and headlamps, otherwise we would not have made it down alive. At the bottom we had hoped to get dinner and cherry pie at the Twin Peaks diner but they were closed.
