He goes on to talk about how 'these trends can be reversed' with the usual rhetoric of technological solutions to lock down our media. Well Michael, if I had the opportunity to write an op-ed piece for the Financial Times I'd urge you to get out of Disneyland and get over your fear of the Internet and begin to service the millions of potential customers out there who would pay for your content albeit not in some proprietary government legislated format. The real crime here is *your* lack of innovation and willingness. We're 'pirates' simply because there is no other alternative. Please give me that alternative.

Think Outside The Car - Leave It At Home!

This week is being hosted by RADIUS (Reducing Automobile Dependence In University Students). There will be Information Booths in the Student Life Centre as well as some video presentations and other events. Many service providers will be joining us, including Greyhound, Recycle Cycles, carpooling.ca, and the People's Car Co-op.

RADIUS will also be launching the UW Yellow Bikes program this week. Starting in the Spring Term, you can borrow a Yellow Bike through the Turnkey Desk!

I then emailed Ming to see if I could borrow his power cord and I could but once I got to his house I discovered that both his power cord and battery are different than the ones in my model of notebook.
