But this down time has enabled me to clean out my inbox (0 items!) and re-organize my Outlook folders.

4:57pm and still no sign of our 5:15 flight... If I had driven, I'd be in Vancouver by now.

Bah, there is no free wireless in Terminal N of Seatac.

Oh the insanity... So I showed up at 2:40pm for my 3:35pm international departure even though I had the day off and really had no excuse for being late.. Fortunately my flight is delayed until 5:15pm. Though that does mean there is some risk I'll miss my flight from Vancouver to Winnipeg (the last one of the day). Even though I could catch a UA flight to Vancouver at 4:20pm, which has space and is willing to take me, Air Canada won't push my ticket over to their system because they don't believe that the risk of further delays is significant. Of course there is still time to hop in the car and drive to Vancouver but that isn't an option :).

I don't understand air travel.

I have a ticket from Seattle -> Vancouver -> Winnipeg. What I want to do is skip my first flight and checkin in Vancouver (since I only have a plane ticket back to Vancouver at this point). Even though the flights are seperate flights (but the same itinerary) Air Canada won't let me get on in Vancouver. In fact, if I want to checkin in Vancouver instead of Seattle they want to charge me $300USD more (I have to cancel my first two flights and buy a whole new ticket), even though I'm opening up a seat for them on the Seattle to Vancouver flight! This is absurd!

Our apartment is throughly divided on the subject of vacuum purchase (it's not the only purchase we're divided on. Ben believes we should decorate with dead animal heads or an animatronic deer) . Ben wants a Roomba, while I am convinced that you cannot rely solely on a Roomba since the Roomba probably does not handle corners well, does not have a hose attachment for dusting and hard to reach areas, and we also have a small apartment so it's not even worth automating the process of vacuuming.

So he's going to buy a Roomba and I'm going to buy a normal vacuum and we're going to have vacuum offs.

In my quest for a vacuum I'd did some browsing through Amazon's top sellers list, because where else would you research vacuum purchase, and I'm curious why there are no canister vacuums in the top 50. Why does everyone love the upright so much? I don't know why but I'm gravitating to a canister but that many Amazon consumers can't be wrong (but they are wrong in placing the several Roombas in the top 5 so I don't know how much they can be trusted).
