Do you know any businesses running Windows Media Center? Email or comment if you do.

Today I tagged along on a site visit to Bulldog News in the U-district which sells newspapers, magazines, music, and has a little Internet cafe. They also have a Media Center hooked up to a large plasma display. They currently use it to play music which they sell by the cash registers. So if you're in the area you can stop by and see a Media Center in action.

I think there is a lot of opportunity in this space of businesses running Media Center. If you're the enterprising consulting type I'd spend some time exploring this area because even without creating custom software there is an opportunity to install these in businesses. Or if you're an enterprising developer I can definitely think of some good scenarios where you could build a rich new experience on top of our extensibility platform.
