Philip Greenspun, Efficient Market Hypothesis for Dating?:
If one looks carefully at a single person it is usually not hard to find an explanation for why they are not happily paired.

I wonder what my explanation is?

But the problem with Philip's comparison to efficient markets is that with security markets 'information is almost freely available to participants'. This is hardly the case for single people. Yes, there are online dating sites, but those aside, how do you effectively communicate your value proposition to a market that you know very little about?

Business Ethics - The magazine of corporate responsibility, 100 Best Corporate Citizens for 2005.

One day I will lead a responsible company.

I wonder what badness Microsoft did to not be included? (Yes haha. We (used) to do lots of bad things (and still do, hello, Nevada tax shelter), but kidding aside, I thought we were pretty good in terms of corporate responsibility).
