What a slow weekend.

Saturday for comfort I went to the Bon Macy and bought kitchen gadgets that will see very little use (because I don't cook). Nothing like a Oxo Steel Micrograter and a brushed steel bottle opener to cheer you up on a dreary Saturday. Though buying them is just an excuse to hang out with all the twenty something couples loading up their wedding registries. I just love eaves dropping and recommending that, yes, that metal utensil will work with your Calphalon One cookset! Ah, young love.

Today for comfort I watched The Station Agent which I must admit I was initially skeptical about, however, it was really good. A perfect way to start a day of couch sitting. Then I went and bought and cooked some bacon. Now the QFC didn't have organic bacon, but what the hell, you only live once.

Now I only have five hours of day left to watch movies.. I better go.

I recently installed Microsoft Money and today I sat down and setup my Bank of America accounts. Setting them up was painless, however, when I view the list of my transactions it doesn't include the name of the business I bought something at making it impossible to categorize transactions.

Money view of transactions:

Bank of America view of transactions:

I searched and searched but couldn't figure out how to get Money to show more detail. Does anyone know how? I find it surprising Money doesn't play well with Bank of America 'out of the box' because it is one of two preferred Microsoft banks.

My wiki has been getting spammed every other day and this afternoon I finally upgraded to an alpha version of the wiki software that I use because it has a spam filter.

I was supposed to go skiing this morning but my ride bailed on me (apparently someone forgot about the time change! (I can't blame him because I did too as my phone alarm woke me an hour earlier than expected)). The kicker is that I just thought they were late and missed the chance to go with someone else. Grrr.

Of course I could have gone alone but instead spent the day on the couch.

My gloves are still wet from Friday so they're now in the oven (the lowest my oven goes is 170'F) in preparation for the 7am departure to Crystal.

New favorite song: Confection from Mommy and Daddy's Fighting Style Killer Panda album (though none of the other songs on the album grab me).
