I thought we had picked the perfect apartment. Hardwood floors, air conditioning (that we don't know how to work), close to subway (only a block away), in a vibrant happening area ('the ghetto'), and of course a balconey for BBQing. But as it turns out barbeques aren't allowed! So what to do!?

Answer: Indoor Grill. Rumor has it the George Foreman is the one to go with. However it's a little pricey so I decided to check the net. Where better than Epinions where I learned about the Hamilton Beach (really Proctor Silex) indoor grill. After reading the opinions I choose it over the Foreman at the Dufferin Mall Walmart.

It was the second time we visited the Walmart since yesterday Maeve and I tried to buy blinds but they didn't work out since we don't have a drill. So we had to return them today and get some ugly cloth ones. We don't understand why the apartment just doesn't supply curtains.. We also need to find some dressers and a bigger computer desk (there's 3 computers here).

Life is still up in the air.. Bleh. I'm tempted to go buy a Blackberry just because I think they're way cool. In Europe soon they'll have voice enabled Blackberrys.
