While we're all avid mountain bikers we are a wee bit lazy so on those days when we're too lazy to load up the car and head for the hills we think it'd be great to have a city bike to rip around with. So Ming and I, with John tagging along, spent part of today shopping for road bikes.

What we learned was that $750-$1000 will buy you an entry level road bike and that for $250 at the used bike store place on Boat street you can get an old school retro bike. (However they don't have many in stock, the guy said to come back in a few weeks once more people were thinking about summer.)

If you have any thoughts on road bikes in Seattle please let us know in the comments. And I probably ride a 54"-56" if you have one laying around that you'd like to sell :).

Today, in many affluent cities and top professions, a salary of $200,000 has become the new $100,000.

This is quite possibly the best Sunday Styles article ever!
