I have my first and last midterm tonight and I really couldn't care less about it. The prof sucks, there's lots of math and while I've done well on the assignments (because there's no real work involved) I don't have a clue what's going on in the course and I'm bound to fail (note: I may be exaggerating). I've tried to study all day but have so far failed. I've even sunk so low as to read a paper on prime numbers despite the fact that I have no interest in math (or else I'd be studying, right?). Of course there is lots of 'real' work I could be doing like work, cleaning my bedroom, painting the hall, doing other homework but there is something about looming exams that causes me to freeze in their headlights and do absolutely nothing productive except count down the minutes.

Update: Hehe, I failed!

Update 2: We watched In The Bedroom (DO NOT read their summary if you're going to rent this movie) tonight which put the failed midterm in it's place.

After doing some more color vision testing I meet with Dr.Hovis and found out that I'll never be allowed to fly commercial aircraft, fly recreational aircraft after dark, work as an air traffic controller, and I also won't be able to work as a policeman or a fireman. He was also disappointed to find out that my sisters lived in Winnipeg because he suspects one of them might have a slight defect and he would have liked to have run some tests.

If I didn't have this damn color defect I might pick up one of these. Oh well, maybe in my next life I'll be able to see clearly.

There's a Toshiba Pocket PC with built in WiFi. Now if only we had blanket WiFi coverage in Waterloo like they do in Manhattan.
