Tim reviews his HP Media Center Extender.

Not surprisingly Tim runs into problem with remoting TV because his networking hardware isn't on the certified list. I'd reiterate that it's important to be using certified hardware because there is a lot of variability in equipment. Personally, I have a Netgear FWAG114 802.11a/b/g wireless router and TV works great.

Also Tim wonders:

I can’t confirm it but I think HP discontinued making the extenders because they weren’t selling well.

I double checked this and they were not discontinued because they were not selling well. (Sorry, I can't disclose why they were discontinued).
