Today I told our GPM (group program manager (my manager's manager)) that if he gave me a Media Center Extender then I'd go out and buy a TV for it and use it (note that I still haven't bought a TV for the living room yet). No sooner were the words out of my mouth then I was handed one. So now I'm in the market for a cheap TV. Though I'd prefer to find a 10"-15" LCD monitor with S-video/rca/component video in. Has anyone seen one of those cheap? I.e. <$250 (it does not need to have a TV tuner in it).
I'm going to set it up in my bedroom and it will my replace my iPod for listening to music. It'll also enable me to watch live TV, act as a digital photo album, and allow me to watch videos/record TV.
And yes, once I have it setup and have a real TV in my living room, I'll invite everyone who is interested over to check out the setup.
