Dave Winer asks:
What is Windows XP Media Center? Apparently it's a TiVO-like box, that runs Windows XP apps, that you can access over your LAN, without hacking. In other words, it's a software platform. We should be able to create some monster apps for this thing. If all this is true, it's one of the most under-promoted products in history.

It's a software platform. It really is. And the next release is even more so.

So just think about what you could do with RSS, BitTorrent and a Media Center.

If I wasn't so busy at work helping to get our next version out I would be coming up with some MC or MC-related killer apps because they really do exist.
