Bummed you missed out on the MVP's preview of Vista last week? Don't worry, Peter Near summarizes what he saw:
Refreshed User Experience – As we saw in the PDC build of Windows Vista, Media Center is in for a major UX overhaul. Whereas MCE 2005 was very much a top-to-bottom organised interface, Vista has a left-to-right organisation to the interface.

I'm off to New York next Wednesday to help out at the Digital Life event. If you're interested in seeing the latest and greatest Media Center stuff you should definitely stop by (closer to the event I'll post the hours I'm working if you want to say hi). The event is open to consumers and tickets are only $15.
We'll be staying at the Hotel W, Times Square; this trip should be a blast.
Anyone have any good food, bar, club, clothes shopping recommendations? I intend to make the most of my time not spent holding down the Media Center fort :).
