Online Journalism Review, Search engines, startup media sites dream of becoming video hubs (via AndrewA):
Grassroots sites Ourmedia.org and Brightcove and search engines like Singingfish and Google try to bring order to online video chaos -- but big broadcasters are torn between Napsterization and 'The Long Tail.'
If I wasn't having so much fun on the platform side of things I'd found a startup to become the Flickr/Google/Netflix of non-commercial video content.

Newegg, Microsoft Remote Control
I have this remote control in translucent green and it rocks. You can configure the TV power button to control the power on your TV set and the volume buttons can be configured to control the volume on your receiver.
