No less than 24 pairs of socks in the stocking this Christmas. While I do relish the idea of only doing laundry 6 times a year (b/c I must have a month supply already) I've decided to trade some of those socks in for other clothing items that might get more use, for instance a toque and mitts.

It also looks like I'll never need to get married because every Christmas I haul back to Waterloo just a few more things for the kitchen (I'm not implying that my lady partner would have kitchen stuff just that it seems that at weddings that kitchen stuff is the present of choice). By the time I move out on my own I should be all set.

And not surprisingly I didn't get my wish for world peace (I also didn't get those $400USD headphones :) ).

Now it's time to get ready for everyone's favorite Christmas event, the extended family dinner (my sisters and I have vowed that when we're grown up Christmas dinner won't be a dreaded event (I wonder if any of my extended family reads this.. (hopefully not?))).

I hope you all are having a good Christmas/Festivus/Holidays/Commercialism and I'll expect to find your presents in my mail box when I get home (it's weird having two homes). My present to you is of course more daily drivel. Enjoy!
