Just had my buddy Mark from AAA Wildlife Control over and he spent half an hour pouring over the house from the inside and out and could not detect any additional entrances. His suspicion is that we might be dealing with a mice problem instead of a squirrel one.

So the course of action is to now purchase enough poison to kill a large colony of mice and see if that helps. If not he said we'll have to wait till we have a fresh snowfall so that we can follow their tracks.

Update: I've secured 1kg of poison and deployed 0.5kg of it in the attic. The question now is, what happens to the mice once they're poisoned?

And why is it that the idea of mouse problem is so much more gross than a squirrel one?

The Bulletin:
There has been some doubt about when, or whether, the Quest student information system was going to be in operation over the Christmas holidays.
We all know that computer systems need holidays too.

No! Matt, put down the baseball bat, Matt.

Matt only uses a genuine Sopranos bat when dealing with pesky bloggers who won't link or give up their rings.

Now if only I could bully one of you into writing my exam for me...

Nobody boycotts an education better than John with a notebook full of season 4 Soprano's episodes (and you can never watch just one).
