Yesterday our company received confirmation that we'd received a $99,000USD grant from the National Science Foundation.

Gary says:

We'll be using the grant to expand the mathematical foundations of our knowledge discovery technology.

My Christmas & New Years plans: Fly to Winnipeg on December 20th and fly back to Waterloo on the 30th. I'll spend New Years in Waterloo, either at Fed Hall all dressed up or we'll have a house party here (cast your vote below if you care).

I'm off to London today and then on Friday a bunch of us are heading over to Amsterdam for the weekend and then I'll be returning Monday night.

If you have any last minute recommendations for things to see and do in Amsterdam they'd be much appreciated!
