Don't let me go out tonight. I must focus on:
  1. Work: Get ready for beta testing
  2. House: Priming the bathroom & sanding the hall
  3. School: Doing my ActSci, Bus 481, and CS370 assignments

I've been getting ~15 hits a day looking for info on the Blackberry 6710 (email+voice). Well, good news, you can buy one now!

If anyone can get me a deal let me know!

But really, at $749-$849 (depending on plans) I might as well buy a refurbished Blackberry 957 for $200 and a tri-band GSM phone for another $200. But then I'm carrying around two devices... Or there is the Treo at $599.. Still no sign of Hiptops here yet..

Plus, for the 957 for $50/mn you get unlimited usage but with the 6710 it's $60/mn for only 5 megs!

So what's the incentive to 'upgrade' to the 6710? Once RIM burns through their $600mil stash I think it'll be game over because their product marketing strategy never seems to add up to success.

On Monday I'm participating in a color vision study. Not for the money nor for 'identifying signal colors used in the railway', but for the 'clinical tests to classify the nature of your defect '. Full report Monday at lunch!

Sean: Dad, stop reading here
Lauren: had ONE (count that mommy - one) drink
Nat: Jenn and Gareth both think that the camera should not be around when we're in Amsterdam (because of Gareth's professional cred and Jenn's mom).

I too waited in nervous anticipation of my Mom's email following stories of our drunken times in Oxford but alas it never came. And I'd call home to check up on things but I've been out every single night for god knows how long (I'm considering taking Friday night off).

It's cool that weblogs offer a chance for our parents and bosses to get a glimpse of our lives but what do you do when you'd like to share with friends the excitement of your weekend but are afraid of repercussions at home or in the workplace? Should we be ashamed of what goes on Friday and Saturday evenings? Should our parents value honesty more than us adhering to their value system?

In the past our parents and bosses knew we went out but now they can see and read about what we inhaled, how much we drank, who we slept with and they can also piece together from our posting times just how much sleep we got before that big exam/day at the office.

Yeah, technology is cool and all, but..
