Exams are done, the weather is warm, and there's cold beer in the fridge. It's amazing how quickly the seasons flip.

I'm sad I won't be in Toronto for the summer months. While it doesn't beat a summer at the lake, last summer was certainly a great one.

Hey, Maeve, you could take a room at 161. We'd find something for you to do here in town and on weekends we'd rip down to Toronto for some great new music.

A related story. Someone stole Nat's place's BBQ.

So I get this call this aft from Jon, Nat's roommate, asking if I 'had borrowed their BBQ'. Unfortunately for them I didn't climb up the fire escape and haul it back down 3 flights of stairs strewn with bikes and garabage cans. But someone else obviously did. Now as weird as this is, it gets weirder.

Someone showed up tonight at their place asking if their BBQ was missing. They told the visitor that it was. He told them there was a BBQ in a back yard in the neighbourhood that might be theirs. They go check it out, indeed it was, and they brought it home.

The kicker is that their BBQ had no propane and apparently the person who stole/borrowed it didn't bother to a) check that or b) fill it up.

All my subletters for 161 Erb are falling through (you know who you are :) ).

So.. I still need *one* summer subletter.

I sent my Dad an email pointing him to the Call for Expression of Interest because Waterloo needs a new facility for the School of Architecture.

All two of my exams are now over! :) Of course many of you don't know how I could be so stressed about two exams.. But they were both math exams and if previous performance is any indicator than it'd indicate that I had to work my ass off to pass.

And work I did! Math 239 had way too much time spent on it. So much in fact that I even started to understand graph theory by the end of it. So much so that I probably passed the course.

Now Pure Math 330 was a different animal. See this course is supposed to be the easiest math course there is (that's before I heard of CO480) and the assignments and mid-terms confirmed just how slack the course was. So feeling confident no one really studied for the final. Big mistake! The prof pulled a fast one and examined us on material that was never covered in class (disclaimer: I never attended class so I'm taking several people's word that the material was never covered). Fortunately everyone felt equally kicked in the stomach so when we all fail at least we'll have failed together.
