Sea to SF

This morning I flew the Redfin corporate jet to San Francisco (and of course bought a Terrapass to offset the carbon emissions).

Redfin Corporate Jet

And of course the theme music to the trip was Album Leaf’s One Day I’ll Be On Time. See my flight was at 9am, my alarm was set for 8:10am (yeah, I know that doesn’t make any sense), but miraculously I woke up around 7:25am. Of course the cab was late and the driver stayed 10 mph under the limit and neither the computer nor the curb side check-in would give me a boarding pass, and the security personnel were enthralled with my bag full of balsa wood airplanes, but I made it just in time for an all veggy Japanese lunch at Medicine.

I’m here until Saturday and my plan is to run a focus group tonight, do some work at our very startup-y SF office, hang out with Darryl Thursday evening and track down a Freitag bag (they’re no longer available in Seattle).

just the other night while i was over at oya’s, she was browsing through the freitag book getting inspiration to design one for herself. i guess she did research on their company while in school…

Was she going to design it online or actually make the bag herself?
